The opera house, which will be a local and international bridgehead of culture and arts, has 1,805 seats and a proscenium stage. It is an up-to-date theatre which can hold a variety of performances such as Opera, Musical play, Ballet, Concert, and to hold the performances which are recently larger and more high-technological. Its hall space-efficiency and safety were taken into consideration. There are 8 pair of acoustic banner curtains in the upper part of the seats. The reverberation of the hall was designed to reduce basic sound by 0.4 second from 1.6 seconds by using the curtains and to prolong 1.2 seconds from 1.6 seconds of the basic sound by using SIAP, a compensating device for sound.

The building was designed for both domestic or international people concerned and spectators. On the third floor, there are middle-sized and small-sized practice rooms for Opera, Dance, Play, Korean traditional music according to the genres. The basement has divided dressing rooms according to the roles: main character, part, individual and group and it also has convenient spaces for spectators; a play space for children, a cafeteria, and lounge rest rooms.

The concert Hall is an acoustic hall specially for Classical music concerts equipped with 996 seats. It is composed of 2 stories and behind the stage, there are 116 seats for chorus members. In addition, The optimum acoustic part of it, the most important one, was designed for the reverberation time of 1.8 seconds. Indirect reflections in the light are used for spectators at the seats so that they feel cozy and comfortable. Though the stage is in the form of arena one without act curtains, as various production processes are considered, act curtains can be set up according to performance characteristics.

The Ensemble Theater with 378 seats has a compound stage for dramatic arts which mini-musicals, concerts, plays, dances can be performed. Since it has a T-stage around the seats for guests, (although the stage, fixed one, is traditional), various plays can be performed such as fashion shows. With a function of revolving a certain part of the stage(turntable), the Ensemble theater can make the spectators see a variety of avant-garde arts. For the reasons, it is a family-oriented theatre which contains mini-performances on a small scale and gives the interaction between spectators and performers.
