Seongnam Arts Center

Seongnam Arts Center,
a Customer-Inspired Cultural Space

Since its grand opening on October 14, 2005, Seongnam Arts Center has embraced cutting-edge trends in the performing arts while pursuing a community-oriented cultural space that reflects the sentiment of the local community.

Seongnam Arts Center is operated by the Seongnam Cultural Foundation, a nonprofit organization that discovers cultural participants in the region and supports their activities. Although many new performance venues have emerged across the metropolitan area, Seongnam Arts Center continues to set the standard by presenting Seongnam premieres, exclusive productions, and in-house programs. Through initiatives run by the Seongnam Cultural Foundation, the center also identifies new audiences and nurtures potential future patrons, strengthening its leadership among cultural foundations and theaters in the region.

By securing Korean premieres, hosting exclusive engagements, and producing its own works, Seongnam Arts Center has strengthened its competitive edge. The complex features three theaters: the 1,808-seat Opera House, the Concert Hall renowned for its exceptional acoustics, and the Ensemble Theater, which presents intimate productions such as plays and jazz performances.
